I am always trying to be polite to customers while not malicious people. I think all customers who have ever dealt with me know my way of thinking and doing things!
Whether SD tools are good or bad is depending on the majority who really use it and my job here is to listen to these people, whatever you say, I am still listening! But for those who never use, for those who are competitors' dealers and those who create malicious gossips, why don't they just keep calm and listen to others?
(i can think of a number of quotes from Confucius, Sun Tzu or Feng Meng Long..)This is funny? But you never understand!
I checked your profile, you leave nothing there. I have the same idea, let me know who you are and I will accept your criticism!
Thank you, Anyway for joining us!
Regards
Edison

It is an interesting mix, that is why I used the quote.
My profile is blank for a reason.
You can always PM me for a general discussion, but be aware ANYTHING I discuss I consider NDA.

lol...see...lol!
Actually only if you are one of SD customers, I can simply click search in SD customer Database, I can find you there. So I suggest you think before you post.
I have MSN and Skype, anyone who wants to talk with me, please PM me and I would also like some phone communication, any way is possible only if it's good to both sides.
Regards
Edison

One hand wants to hear Edison out and the other wants to click on the FOE button. What a dilemma.

Thank you a lot, Thatdellguy, you do understand me a lot now, before I decided to join your discussion, I have expected my pressure here but I still decided to be together with SD customers.
Thatdellguy, I begin to like you because at least I know who you are and you are indeed one of our customers who are using one of our HD doctors. You are supporting us for so long and you let more and more people learn about SalvationDATA. Thank you, my friend!
I believe customers will understand me and support me!
If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know!
I want to ask DRC, about the seagate laptop ROM solution, I can not find your post before about that topic, can you please share with me and you can PM me. Thank you.

K,
From a business point of view:
Personally there is nothing to gain from allowing "The gospel according to SD" into the forum to drum up business.
This is the second time there has been a heavy handed attempt to take control of the thread.
From the tone of the posts there appears to be an interest in promoting certain product purely from a sales point of view.
It perfectly clear from the posts that:
1. There is no interest in anyone that has not *bought* the product or people that do not appear in their 'database'.
(Does not take into account people who review hardware for law enforcement/ government use, and don't have traceable profiles.......)
2. Toys will be thrown out of the pram if the poster does not get his own way.
3. logical argument takes second place to hard slap downs.
This attitude can best be described as short sighted(井底之蛙 ,....looking at leopard through bamboo tube, etc, etc).
Sorry to say that most of the kit reviewed from various vendors is not really as advanced as it could be.
There is far too little innovation particularly on the software side , not to mention the downright blatant theft and plagiarism of both designs and material by some suppliers.

code_slave, I suspect you're from China too and you even don't read others's post and you can not read English?
What a shame on you! If you just dump rubbish anywhere without caring what others say, your status will turn red here. Edison is the one of the best support I have ever talked with in SalvationDATA and I trust he will really do something to improve their products and services.
Since you don't have sd tools, you should hear what real SD customers say, not blind to them and so selfish to express yourself like a Genius knowing everything!
btw, Edison, I have some suggestions for your Seagate doctor:
1st, so far, We can only use it to repair some common failures of Barracuda 7200.11 and 12, we need to upgrade this asap to support the firmware operations, thank you;
2nd, for Data Compass, can you send me the internal version to me for testing?

I must admit, never have even looked at SD tools but I am sure 100% that I can pick the flies from it.
How about you send me a demo unit ;o) One which does not crackle and spark
Hello Guru, I am very curious about what you are talking about and I am also curious you blacken SD everywhere while you never looked at SD tools, are you Ghost or something?
I can reference what I hear and read from people who have moaned about your SD product. I would never pay for the SD tools, that is why I offered an "honest" review on your products. Send them and I will even send them back to you."between Ace and Salvage Data? " It's a great pity while you have tried to debase sd for so long, you are still not clear about our company name. Salvage Data is one Stamford data recovery service provider in USA! So please investigate this carefully and then continue your lies and gossip if hddguru allows!
Salvage is a comical name of salvation data.Well, dare you introduce yourself or your company to us? Why you always hide behind and manufacture malicious gossip?
Well I am very sorry if SD hurts your benifit by selling pc3k or other similiar tools but can you please try to do things like a human, I am not even expecting a Gentleman from you. If you have suggestions, you can post here with real facts, but I guess you will never have facts here. Since you are not a SD customer and at the same time a ghost behind, please shut up and get out of this topic!
I don't sell tools and I don't advertise and I don't care about who is best and biggestIt's a great pity while you have tried to debase sd for so long (You do this quite well yourself)

Hi HDDsoeasy, Thanks a lot for your kind post. I finally find someone who is really giving us the suggestions to improve. This is what I want to hear.
-For the firmware R/W of Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 and 12, we have worked it out, also you are able to Read Firmware under F level. The new Seagate doctor V5.0 will have this included and will be available late this week or early next week;
-For Data Compass 2011 internal version, please mail me and I will give you one document for sharing one of your case studies with our tools and then I will send to you the files by email.
Thank you again, HDDsoeasy!

Well, I don't want here with so many empty posts for SD customers and I apologize for being rude to someone before here. From now on, I will only answer questions from real sd customers about SD, upgrades, new tools and how-to-guide.
At the same time, I join to be part of SD official forum support and I will put my focus there to give customers my best support with other SD supports.

Hi Edison, you got the point now! I read posts these days in this forum and I have a feeling it becomes more and more empty and what I see most is quarrelling and harsh rhetoric. Come on, Edison, don't lose your confidence here to server your customers although I am still not deciding to go with you but you choose the right way to face them, this is very good!
Ignore what the wrong people are talking about here. They just want to irritate and they are happy with that in the forum for long.
I am invited to join one private forum started by one customer and there have been some users there, no ads, no quarrelling, no competition, just share tips and tricks, just help each other, that can be my next stop...this bus is out...good luck, Edison...

I emailed it to your support department over a year ago and they said it would be added to the next version ASAP. I'll look around to see if I still have my notes.

Hi Drc, We are these days busy with upgrading our tools and improving everything which can be useful to customers and you can mail me your suggestions and I will see what's the best I can do for you. Thank you.
By the way, Dear customers, we have added some new contents in SD official forum and you can go and check if they are useful to you and we also arrange a fast reply to your suggestions as well there. Or if you have any suggestions, you can mail me as well.

Edison, what's dat you smokin, mon?
August 16th, 2010, 5:18
Actually, I seldom smoke, only when there's too much work and I work overnight...
By the way, we have created the Remote Assistance Application online submission form for customers and these days customers are more and more used to it, that definitely helps with a fast and complete support to all customers.
Please check this form:
http://www.salvationdata.com/remote-ass ... cation.phpI think this is especially good for American customers. We have also one special staff in charge of all support request to make sure no one missing!
