SD listens to NO ONE. If these updates do come out, they will probably be the only ones for several years. |

They announced the Hitachi update for the 20th of this month.... Will they comply?? Let's wait and see... |

Hitachi update did make some difference, now waiting for DC update.. I wonder If they ever update to USB 3.0 functionality without having to buy a completely new tool for another $$$$$ |

hah, and now you're all proved wrong when they released the new WD 7.0.5 software! Oh wait, first thing it did was bring up a nice fat error message.. Thanks SD~! Someone should tell their programmer that sprinkling around 32 bit signed integers to represent the size of the drives went out back when they started making drives in multi-terabyte size... or that you don't actually need to store numbers as strings in a binary file.. or the definition of error handling.. or that if you're going to wait 3 years to release an update, you need to actually test your functions, not just write them.. ![]() |
