Dear Friend,
A very good advice, be carefull with Salvation Data "TOYS", when to buy you get the best attention,
as for support, you are completely IGNORED, you don´t even have firmware to use with these "TOYS",
you´ll have to "Dig" on the web for them, and "PAY" if you find.
I personnaly prefer the PC3K "PROFESSIONAL TOOLS", the kit comes with a 3GB firmware database,
it is also integrated with the Recovery utility software "Automatic".
I used both, and on scale 0 to 10, pc3k got 8 to 10, when Salvation Data Tools got ( -10 to 2),
as for the support, you´ll have to learn chinese... indeed, chinese products ALWAYS had the fame of
POOR or BAD quality, the technical support is iqual or worse...
my Regards

I have bought the SD tools and until now, when i need they are available. There is a problem with the time fuse, but that is understandable.

If they do the same that ACE, I don't know..

Toshiba, Fujitsu, and Samsung are very new to SD and have just come out. After seeing and working in the Samsung tool I would suggest if you would like to purchase this tool consider this tool is in the developement stages. I am sure it will need a lot of time to research and write and rewrite the program on these two tools to make them work correctly so they can be used to recover your drives with them. SD has made some improvements to their other tools in the past two years but they still need work also and have bugs in them. Sorry to say this one. There are some functions on them that work good.

But like I have said before all tools can work if you understand the drive and the tool. The manuals will not help out much they are very badly written and hard to understand on these tools. Your best bet on these tools is the TS from SD to help you with your drive recovery on them.

I'm more than agree with tonibkassab regards Salvationdata products and they are worse than anything you think!
they sold me a 3.5K HDD doctor suit around 2013 and the WD was DOA damaged.
they wasted almost a year call and all bullshit and setting up some VIOP crap software to support online and live!
their advise toke a year and I told them it's faulty, then they said because it's a year past no support!
I put my first opposition on their forum that it's not fair and they block me as well!

they not only have no support they are a Asian base company in China like many other chinese scam that hardly even understand English, they only put a live support because they use a translator to understand people!

I can say more but honest that was the biggest rip off in my life that even caused I wiped out in data recovery when relying on their products.

I strongly suggest you don't use the salvation data products. unless you are Chinese and you are in China.

their products sold in China 1/5 prices if you can use chinese version. called xy something.

if you think I'm do lie I sell all their hdd doctor suit that I purchase half of what I paid and most are unopened new! only wd module not working!
