Thanks a lot, dear SD customers and this is Edison from SalvationDATA!

I was suggested to read this forum by one customer and I know why now. Whether it's criticism or testimonials, I thank all the same and archive your suggestions on my desk! We have received 10 years' of criticism or testimonials, criticism is a bitter good medicine to make us healthy and strong and testimonials are our nutrition and power to go faster and more steadily.

Although this is not SD official forum but hosted by our competitors and I even know there are some ace dealers and voters and I even know who you are, I sincerely feel ashamed and show my respect to ACE or Atola at the same time because I see part of our customers get support by some real gurus here while they didn't get enough in SD official forum.

Please forgive me that I would like to tell you a little about SD history:

"10 years ago, SD started with 2 people, our current CEO and CTO, we have only simple Dos version of software performing some simple diagnosis and repair tasks and have only a few customers in the local market; 5 years ago, we started the marketing of our data recovery software to foreign market and we have the plesure to have some customers due to the cost-effective solutions; 3 years ago, SD developped very fast and had our HD HPE PRO and HD Doctor Suite and in recent three years, we have a full range of data recovery tools for head/platter exchange, firmware repair, data backup, data extraction, data wiping and data security tools and now we have thousands of customers worldwide, you are part of them."

SalvationDATA is a fast growing data recovery company and we aim to make ourselves a one stop for data security tools and solutions, from software to hardware, from offline to online, from hdd to flash, ssd, and cellphone's data security. Anyway, data recovery is one of our major direction of research and development.

I am sincere and confident to tell all our customers, SalvationDATA will be always with you and we believe you need a real life of career and business of your own. I trust you will succeed in the long run just like I trust SalvationDATA will!

I am now working hard with other SalvationDATA people and partners and resellers to do the following:

1, Upgrade all our existing tools to make them more friendly with more useful solutions, based on my suggestion archives from all of you

-As you can see that, we have already worked on the Data Compass 2011 and some of our customers have already got the internal version of that to test; Besides this, we have also important upgrade to our flash doctor, you will be able to read our technical white paper for the flash doctor upgrade. More upgrades for all the hd doctors will be released step by step as well;

2, Improve the quality of technique support and help with customers' success rate although our support is free.

-We will open one special part in our forum for customers who will ask for remote assistance and at the same time arrange one special support to date with you about remote assistance and monitor the whole support process to guarantee the support quality, to make sure everything goes well and satisfactory support has been given to you. I hope this can be useful to our Amercian market support.
-We will do our best to upload more firmware resources to our forum but please don't count on this for your success rate, your own accumulation by other means is also very important;
-Special forum support engineer has been arranged to read forum everyday and answer customers' question in time and effectively;
-We are also preparing more video case studies for customers to more easily understand how to use our tools well;

3, New tools and solutions.

We have professional marketing observation team and report to our R&D center. No business is forever and all businesses have their lifecycles and data recovery business too.

Customers are able to get our newsletter about this and if interested, you can also develop together besides data recovery. I would like to tell you more about that by newsletter or you can PM me.

I believe what we are doing will bring you happy time to enjoy being together with us and one thing is important, your joining in this process will be one of the key factors for mutual and win-win cooperations.

If you are interested in learning more about Data Compass 2011, please read here

Thank you again, Dear SD customers for your support!

Very well said Edison.

I'd like to be the first to apologize for being critical of SD products. At the same time, I'm happy that there is finally someone listening and look forward to seeing SD grow as your team starts to implement some of the changes.

Cheers!
Luke

Hi Edison

Great to see you here. I'm too a SD client. Until now, I think your major "problem" are in did the manuals and the explanation of the tools.

Here in HDDGuru, we see a lot of disagreement about what's the best tools SD or ACE. Hope you prove to all of us that SD is capable of be the best.

Hello All, I am not planning to prove SD is the best tool or better than ACE while ACE is really a good competitor and friend of us who makes us make progress.

What I am trying to say is the Russian culture to be the best and wide and Chinese Culture of to be wide and best! It's just a matter of time with different order of development stages but not in conflicts and finally we go the same way, I am sure except ACE makes enough money and wants to quit in this field, I don't think so at least!

DRC, thanks a lot for your reminding, as customers are seeing we are adding those you mentioned before to our tools and recently we have accelerated the upgrade progress and I am still reading and putting in order all those which are possible for our R&D dept. to perform. I will manage to find all your posts and suggestions and read and see what's the best I can do. Only if it's useful for customers and we will seriously consider working it out.

Well done, DRC, thanks, DRC.

But sometims, we may think a little differently and we can not satisfy all customers at one time because we have a long way to go for our diversified development.

For support issue, we will release the news and post in sd official forum who to contact for a date.

PClab, thank you a lot for your suggestions for the manuals and many thanks to our dear Ann, Waldir and many other SD clients who have helped to improve. we also realized this and we are doing our best to cooeprated with our customers and distributors who speak good English and understand DR and our tools well.

At last I want to say, New SalvationDATA, new appreance, see and watch SalvationDATA with your new vision and growing wisdom, thank you and we will make it together.

Regards
Edison

HI Mr. Mokhtar,

Thanks a lot for your feedback here. I know you are one user of our HD Doctor for Western Digital and you must know almost 90% of hard drives in Egypt are WD and I am sure everybody knows WD doctor there and I believe all IT guys and even each family will have one WD doctor in near future and you are one of them.

Thank you for your criticism and we are recently uploading to sd official forum with some new WD donor firmwares provided by customers and you can visit and see if you can find some there. But please remember that we are provider of tools, not donors, please understand you should count on yourself for donors, donor heads or donor firmware. We are one of your resources and we are doing our best to be one better resource for your success, this is the best we can do.

We have one reseller in Egypt for our Wd doctor, they can help as well and we will see if they can work out some Arabic manuals.

If you want to date with our engineer for remote assistance, just have a simple post in SalvationDATA official forum and we will arrange for you.

Thank you again, my friend!

Regards
Edison

SD really needs to lose this "we think our way, don't let the door hit you in the a$$" way of thinking. I'm shocked that this is the first time you've been to the hddguru forum.

If my understanding is correct, Edison is a fairly new addition to the SD team with the goal of improving their image and, hopefully, their products. I feel we should cut him a little slack and work with him. If he takes our feedback back to the SD team and they listen, they may actually become a serious contender in the data recovery tool market.

Actually as part of SalvationDATA customers, you have helped SD a lot. "we think our way, don't let the door hit you in the a$$", I really can not agree with you, thatdellguy, if like that, sd disappear long time ago.

One thing I want to remind all of you, my friends, you should see not only what we haven't done, but you must see what we have done! It's just the what we have done to make us make progress and developped so far for almost 10 years. I also mentioned above, we can not satisfy all customers at one time, but SalvationDATA has always listened to customers and changed things better.

Thanks a lot, Luke for your understanding.

I joined you and discuss with you and that's just because I am trying my best to be one qualified part of SalvationDATA, just like you guys are part of SalvationDATA helping SalvationDATA by sharing your ideas, we have finally the same purpose! When one day, all of you keep silent, I will feel something really going wrong or we have become perfect.

I like what poehere has said in another post, "No tool is a bad tool if you know how to use it and what you are doing. "

Hello Guru, I am very curious about what you are talking about and I am also curious you blacken SD everywhere while you never looked at SD tools, are you Ghost or something?

Well, dare you introduce yourself or your company to us? Why you always hide behind and manufacture malicious gossip?

Well I am very sorry if SD hurts your benifit by selling pc3k or other similiar tools but can you please try to do things like a human, I am not even expecting a Gentleman from you. If you have suggestions, you can mail me directly edison@salvationdata.com or you can post here with real facts, but I guess you will never have facts here. Since you are not a SD customer and at the same time a ghost behind, please shut up and get out of this topic!

Hello Guru, I am very curious about what you are talking about and I am also curious you blacken SD everywhere while you never looked at SD tools, are you Ghost or something?

"between Ace and Salvage Data? " It's a great pity while you have tried to debase sd for so long, you are still not clear about our company name. Salvage Data is one Stamford data recovery service provider in USA! So please investigate this carefully and then continue your lies and gossip if hddguru allows!

Well, dare you introduce yourself or your company to us? Why you always hide behind and manufacture malicious gossip?

The problem is Edison as always with China suppliers, is their attitude, followed closely by the utter lack of EFFECTIVE quality control, and support.

Not to mention the general 'lack of innovation' (which despite what many think is not knocking 5 bucks off the manufacturing price of some product that has been 'copied' and then 'boosting' 100 bucks from the end customer)

And before you accuse me of 'blackening' anything or being against the 'people', I am talking from over 20 years of solid experience.

Finally......

"Since you are not a SD customer and at the same time a ghost behind, please shut up and get out of this topic!"

The least you can do is accept other people have a right to an opinion other than YOURS, even IF in your opinion, it may be wrong,argumentative, Trolling, insane, stupid or moronic.

Because if the above is going to be your solution to solving problems with potential customers, then I'm afraid, your business career is very very likely to closely track that of the good ship HMS Titanic.

(i can think of a number of quotes from Confucius, Sun Tzu or Feng Meng Long on the errors of behaving this way)

I am available within China for consulting services, if you so desire.
