HI

I HAVE WD800BB-00JHC0 .
1- POWER ON CLINKING --- READY STATUS
2- LOAD MANAGMENT CLIKING THEN I GOT INVALID MODEL NUMBER (XYZ).(SEE PICT)

NO MODULES APPEAR TO UPDATE MOD 11.

PLS YOU ADVICE.

SD has a case study for this problem. Have you tried to find it on their blog site. You can start here on this one.

One defective head or SA damage.

i believe that u will need SD resources for that. modules issue
what is ur hdd SN?

Hi to all.

I used SD case study for this problem but i got same problem .

Try to swap pcb if you have a donor for that one...
I have a similar problem were rom on pcb was corrupted

Drive is clicking, so it's 99% certainly heads/preamp.

Incompatible version/ROM corruption can cause the "XYZ" symptoms, but not usually clicking.
