Hello friends

I have Hitachi drive it come with clicking noise and cannot be recognized by HD Doctor SA A and B are damaged so I was able to access SA C and copy modules and update them to SA A and now I got ready status but it still clicking and I cannot access data I also tray to update NVRAm from identical donor I must mention here that this drive is part of 2 HDD RAID so I have the donor and its good
after all
1- I can read RAM and ROM
2- I can read P list but I cannot read G list
3- I cannot read sector
4- I cannot load from HDD

I still have many bad modules from SA-A
Now the question is witch modules I can update from donors that I don't lose data

thanks

Most importantly you cannot read PSHT, without this you will not get data.

I think you will need to change heads to try and get drive to read from SA-A/B.

Or possibly you have bad sectors in SA preventing you writing the PSHT you got from SA-C to SA-A/B

PSHT is critical for user access data on the patient. Cannot be copied from the donor.

Strongly suggest you follow pcimage's recommendation. Not a good idea to perform any firmware work on a drive with failed heads, which is most likely the case.
