As one of Canada’s leading data recovery companies is currently looking for another data recovery technician / engineer to join its award-winning team. We are looking for an experienced, talented individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The position requires advanced, previous data recovery experience.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide technical evaluations on any failed device.
• Conduct various data recovery procedures, including specialized electrical repair and internal work (i.e., Head Disk Assembly swap, platter swap, etc.).
• Adjust, repair, and replace electronic and mechanical components from various failed media.
• Perform soldering-based repairs.
Requirements
• Work effectively as a team contributor and independently with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 4-years of hands-on experience in a data recovery lab as a technician.
• Proficiency with the industry’s major recovery tools, specifically PC-3000.
• Advanced soldering skills.
• Experience in performing internal work on hard drives.
• Excellent technical skills.
• Flash-based recovery experience is an asset.
