Got two rare dual actuator drives with even more unique SC02 firmware. Now searching for an updated firmware. The only relatable firmware for this model I can find is SN03 which is not compatible. With some research I found that firmwares starting with SC may come from Lenovo, but I'm still not sure about it, and there is no mention of dual actuator drives from any lenovo docs. Anyone has any clue about it? Thanks.

I have another of these drives with SN03 firmware, and it does not have this kind of behavior(or it's less often, making it less annoying). |

does this thing show up as two luns on the bus? it seems like there are 2 complete controllers for each actuator, just as if it was 2 hdds except for the spindle... |

nice way of building selfdestruct raids... if one component fails, you are finished

Wondering which vendor's firmware starts with SC. |
