Dear Sir,
According to our client's database we don't have you listed as our buyer.
Nor we have received even similar complaints about our Hdds sea 7200.12/.11+p1 set.
Are you sure that you bought our tool, and not some cheap copy which is prone to have lots of different kinds of malfunction?
Kind regards,

Are you sure you have a suitable donor? Are you sure that it is a head issue and not a firmware issue?
June 4th, 2016, 16:25
The head change tool on these drives is the least of your issues.

Case 1, not a match. The date is 7 months or so off.
Case 2, might work but needs more details such as P/N to be sure. However given that it's a DM series, are you sure you've even properly diagnosed it? There's a lot of these getting misdiagnosed as head failures when it's really other issues at the root of it.

Hello Northwind.
How important to match firmware for seagate Head replacement.
June 15th, 2016, 13:14
You post problem on wrong place, you should be looking at pc3k of general forum.
There is a lot of things in DR then just head change.
Seems you changed them good, but other things other should explain.
I would start from adpatives head map etc etc...but this is whole another part of DR
