WD 640 GB laptop drive heads not parking ?

Hi all , I have a WD drive from an old laptop , I have written it off but just interested , It is not recognised by pc and it makes this noise : https://www.dropbox.com/s/dj3qfpscz3kcm0q/New%20Recording%2014.m4a?dl=0
I have opened it it does not look like (to me ) that the heads are parking correctly ? .

Nope - looks like the ramp is damage and it's probably trashed the head too.

Judging by the sound, you might be lucky and heads didn't make it to the platters.
In that case, could be just a swap heads+ramp procedure to get it recovered.
But that's only if you got lucky.
