i have a problem with my wd60ezaz HDD. it always shuts down every minute and starts again. videos will bi stopped but when it is busy reading or writing a hundred gigabytes the disk will not shut down. chkdsk /f/r reported no problems. sectorcheck with partion magic shows completely green for no sector problems, but hdtune shows all sectors red= damaged.. crystal diskinfo shows no mistakes. the hdd itself seems to be ok, but why does ist restart permanenty?
with great effort i managed to copy all 5 TB of data video and audio files to another hdd, which took two days
can i repair that? and how? or is it a case für the trashbin?
