Hello,

I accidently switched my external power supply with another one, which caused fatal damage to my WD 4TB PCB.

These 2 components are dead so I need to replace them.

Can you help me to select the correct ones please ? Can't find them easily by reverse search and google Lens.

Thanks in advance.

"S" is a 4A smt fuse.

"Y4" is a 12V TVS diode. You can replace it with SMBJ12A., or you can simply remove it.

This is in the wrong sub BTW.

Its a diode and the smaller "S" component is a fuse, fzabkar has detailed information here http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=86 about drive overvolt protection.

For data recovery fuses can be bridged diodes can be removed - there's a chance it may have blown the preamp too though. You'll probably find it just as cheap to buy a donor pcb and move them as it will be buy 1 of each.

That's unlikely in this case. The OP appears to have overvolted the 12V input of an external enclosure. A preamp is at risk when there is an overvoltage on the 5V supply.
