Hi,
I've got a WD USB , i swap the U12 bios chip from the USB board to the SATA board.
Interestingly the USB board have a U14 chip, which does not exist in the sata board.( research from forum says it's a encryption chip)

I load up using MRT .
i manually picked family group "shrek LT" as it doesn't auto detect

Shows 0 GB

The drive must either have another firmware issue, or (more likely) has a failed head preventing it from properly identifying.

hi data medics thank you for your response.

Since this is 2 TB 2.5" drive, i guess i'll try to repair firmware via MRT.
Is it just by loading the LDR file?
