WHY THE HELL didn't he backup the firmware of the donnor drive first ?
If the drive is compatible enough for the heads to work on the damaged drive i would say that the first thing to do would be to backup the working drive firmware for later use ?

you're running too much, I have two identical units with two different problems so I did two different posts. It seemed simple to understand
However, I thank you for the answer, mrt knows my problem because I had already talked to one of their technicians that's why he gave me that information. As far as backing up the other post you were talking about I have a different problem, of course I opened the unit safely and replaced the heads but the problem remains the same, irregular clicks. Unfortunately, this unit was subjected to a severe electric shock and some components exploded, I replaced the pcb and I recovered the ardent chip replacing it on the new pcb I had but the problem remains, so I thought it was a head problem and I proceeded to replace it, but nothing. The unit was identical to the one in question but was slightly more recent. Thanks again for your precious directions
