 Post subject: mrt wd big bug

I'm continue to post function not working in mrt so new people who want to buy professional hdd repair tool will be able to take this into consideration,if you look at mrt menu you will see rich menu but when you get case and be desperate to use some functions most of the chances the function will not work on this model (even on a good disk),mrt still considered a new tool and the list of supported models moving very slowly.
So this time I will report about editing heads in wd,because we can't edit wd heads in rom for data recovery purpose the edit heads in ram become very important,unfortunately it does not work in mrt,I test it on zephyr,hubble,fblite,tahoe,mekinley,so either you can't enter the edit map window or you can enter the window and disable heads but will be no effect at all or it will work not properly for example in zephyr family if you disable heads 0 or 2 or 3 it will disable the current head and also head 1 together with that so total two heads will disable even you disable just one .

As you can see , this problem is old and still not fixed in current version....Like many others...
