Both heads stop reading at the same point or does one head read further than the other?

I stand corrected, its definitely partial sector access, you probably messed up translators without considering the defects from NRGlist.

Even the Salvation Data HD Doctor for Seagate have an option to deal with this (that works like "Leonardo Method" -
http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=196 ).
For MRT you can use the instructions provided by MRT staff on those mentioned MRT articles or if it fails you can check the entioned example of how to fix this using SeDiv and apply the same method to MRT.....
Please do tell us if you do make progress with this recovery !
MRT Technical Staff see my case on tv next working day.

Try to start different LBA positions.
Other options
Remove fast copy option
Go error handing part (pic3)
Use hard reset and power reset . And use a skip block value like 100 or 100000 .
Go timeout setting part (pic3)
Increase default ms timeout numbers. It's very useful for weak heads/slow sectors . Select hard reset and power reset.
Also u can use backward reading if you wish.
