Hello everyone. I want to know if anybody here had success on getting data from a terminal locked LM Rosewood using new features from update. Wanted to know too if is there any way to simulate this issue on a good drive for study purposes.

Look at their video on YouTube
https://youtu.be/_WOn-RWNXxw

They use a good drive and they simulate the defect in it. But I will not use the procedure on a client drive because in the process you will clear the MC table and a lot of data can be lost after this.

Regards

ccc, Thank you so much for your answer :). I will do it with some drives here and see what happens. But, in case of a client with this problem, what exactly would be the best approach? This is the kind of case that only a PC3000 can have considerable success?

Hi
It does not depend of the tool...It depends of the experience of the user behind the tool....
You just have to preserve the MC table contents to be sure that no user data is lost when regenerate translator on Rosewood's.

And yes, PC3000(and other tools) can help a lot when dealing with this kind of drives.

Regards
