This could be the result of a failed or improper firmware update.
Can you upload your ROM? It may be possible to revert to a backup copy of the original firmware.

RAP and CAP are bad amongst other bits and the serial number in the SAP doesn't match the label you posted (but does match your MRT screenshot). Above my paid grade I'm afraid.

That's only half the ROM.
Following up Lardman's observation ...

Sloppy seconds on a fubar drive do you think?

I'm watching a thread in another forum where an ST2000VM003 drive has been relabelled as a FireCuda, and the CAP in the ROM has been hacked so that the drive reports the fake serial number.

I'm following Phil's thread - I just don't see that sort of thing here or at least I don't think I do.
Given how close the 2 drives in this case are I wonder if the pcb being used is original or if it's a board swap without a rom swap.
SALIM have you don't anything to the drive/rom yet?

Could we see both sides of the PCB?
Could we see the markings on the chips, especially the ROM?

Why does your drive have two different serial numbers from two different models?
Why have you only uploaded half of the ROM?
Is the drive a fake?
The "Overlay ..." messages in your terminal log would suggest that your drive can reach the SA, so the adaptives would seem to be native, or am I misunderstanding something?
