every thing with this drive is good and i can backup and read everything accept when i try to do logical scan or read user data it stops reading after a little while and gives red sectors you can see in the attached photo


can any when help me with this please ?

have you checked if the unreadable area starts at a head boundary? i suspect h1 is weak (at least)

the problem is that from that point till the end it gives red sectors even if i go to the end sector it gives all red

then it is probably translator related.
