I swapped DCM HHKTJHB heads for EHKTJHKB heads and suspect they are not compatible. I am not sure which DCM letters absolutly have to match. I suspect that preamp info is represented but not sure where. This preamp info MUST match I suspect. Maybe the DCX must match in places as well. Where do I find the proper answer ... there seems to be a lot of "opinions" out there but I would like to hear from someone with real hands on experience on this.
Thanks
Gordon

TJ and they are compatible. Some other attributes may still be different, like mr offset, which may result in corrupting the SA.

DCX is a secret code which identifies fakes. I have identified the meanings of 8 out of 9 characters. Basically it checks for consistency with the serial number and model number.
In short, DCX has no relevance to head swaps.

Yep, your patient and donors are compatible.
Describe the behavior after heads swap.
