Using WD 2.1.7.1 810011 unlocked and backed all modules without err.

When I tried to read Sectors in PBA mode using DE. but Even Single sector is not reading but it reads in LBA mode.

Why i m getting err while trying in PBA mode? (I tried PBA reading in old hdd, it reads )

Yes For This case.

But usually it should read in PBA mode ( Tested in WD250....LPCX)

For drives with no encryption (ie. some rare SATA drives and some drives manufactured for Russian region where encryption is prohibited), PBA method works with considerably good results, albeit slow.
For drives with encryption it has no effect.

This is probably SMR crypted disk. T2 is empty or broken.
"PBA read" and "read through utility" not working for these drives (not decrypt sectors).
You need to repair, rebuild, reconstruct module 190 (189 does not that matter) and read drive through original PCB (with SATA solution) there is only way to decrypt sectors properly.
Maybe MRT or AceLab add new features in future versions to handle this problem.

There are some ideas:
1. If 190 is not empty but broken, can be repaired (tested, working).
2. If 190 is empty can be replaced with a generated artificially covering the entire LBA space, after that reading will be similar to PBA reading. Probably some data can be recovered in RAW but results will not be great. Files in SMR drives are very fragmented. (not tested)
3. In FW area there are some fragments of T2 translator, probably can be gathered and can be used to rebuild module 190. There probably many holes but some data can be recovered, probably result can be better than result from point "2". (not tested).

190 module is similar to simple FAT file system. There is cluster size 4096 and "Fat" table with offsets to each chunk (cluster). Most of file 190 not be used, usually is used in 20-25% only, rest is empty or trashes.

Good luck with your rebuilding!

I found same issue also on last 2.1.7.3 version, but my drive is not encrypted.
I used sata pcb that is unlocked.
