Hi,

I have ST Barracuda 7200.12 patient that need to overlay by write loader/update microcode from same donor f/w.
Due to not sure using this menu for ST before, I do "practice" with some good Barracuda 7200.12 with no data. I wonder, done with 5 units good hdd, same issue :

Writing Loader failed, invalid file!

LDR file took from good hdd itself, but 5 of those good hdd are same error. All of option is done with same error, by ATA, ABA, serial port (38400).

Do I miss step or this menu Write Loader/update microcode is really not work?

This is only test, good working hdd. Write LDR.
Remain problem, even thought only write loader into the RAM :

MRT have instruction for write LDR, both below link is not event success to follow

Confusing... anybody knows how to get "LDR from official website of seagate" ?
