Lukas, file size in attachment. It my capacity issue ?

Hi, I have WD Palmer 2.5", HDD is no issue at all working as normal. I ma just need to save the SA < I need some module on it. But during unlock I failed to proceed. 1. Copy ROM IC using programmer. 2. Upload the file, and unlock, fail : Creating unlocked ROM... Family : .......................................: Palmer Data source of original ROM file : .............: from file Path of original ROM file: F:\ROM ORIGINAL WD10SPZX WX41AA926JVS\MX25U8032E@SOP8.BIN Wrong size of ROM file! Create unlocked ROM : ..........................: Failed Technology mode key : ..........................: OK Any body knows what is the problem? Thank you |

1025KiB is too big. It should be 1024KiB. This IC has an additional 4Kbit OTP area for serial number and special data. https://www.macronix.com/Lists/Datasheet/Attachments/8639/MX25U8032E,%201.8V,%208Mb,%20v1.4.pdf Upload your ROM dump so we can see what is happening. |
