Hi, I was about to purchase WD Scorpio Blue (WD5000BEVT) but then noticed the AV-25 model (WD5000BUDT) from the same company. The specs are quite similar but AV-25 has more cache and consumes less power. Unfortunately I couldn't find any more performance tests or benchmarks between these two models. Which one is better (faster)?

An other aspect that confused me is that they say AV-25 is designed for video-storage devices, is it an issue if I put such a disk into a laptop?
Is the "advanced format technology" for any good or does it reduce performance e.g. access times? I understood it was designed to utilize disk space more efficently.
