Working knowledge of personal computer internal components
Experience with assembling and disassembling computer hardware required
Experience in electronic rework
Experience with low level hard drive firmware structures and their repair
Experience with the recovery of NAND flash is a plus
Backup software and email system experience desired
Ability to read and write technical documents and project summary information
Ability to view documents, logs and reports online

I think I might be suitable for this job. I have a masters degree in being able to stand for several hours at a time. Is this ad for a data recovery engineer or a security guard?

Well, Austin is a big place, but my first thought was Action Front - AKA Seagate Data Recovery, Happy Meadows hard disk hospital, or whatever they are called these days.
Looking at the job spec, they need a whole data recovery company, not an engineer.
Ability to read and write technical documents and project summary information
Shit, I forget, Icant read or write
