sata vs ide

ok im thinking ide is a lot better then sata connections now

as im seeing more sata drives coming in for recover then i do ide now

what your options guys

There is simply more SATA drives on a market now.

Here they only bring in SATA now. I think it is due to the new configuration on the MB which they bring in here that only have 1 IDE slot for the board and arrive here with 6 SATA slots. They seem to be going to SATA for all here now even with DVD rewriters and all connected to the MB. From what they seem to say here when I want IDE is that it is not available and they don't bring it in there. I am sure that one is not true. I see them posted all over and for sale on the Internet everywhere.

It is the same - only market is going SATA. Sata and SAS are well designed and have more useful features i.e. HOTPLUG.
