Why can't I email HDDGuru for support???!!!
I have a basic problem of what to do next after performing a Low Level Format with HDDGurus LLF software.
I can see the "Unallocated" drive in XPs Computer Management control panel. But it will not let me partition, mount or format it.
In DOS prompt I do not seem to have the 'fdisk' utility.
When I try "format drive ..." it does not recognise the spare drive.
I sold this drive to recycle it on eBay, and hoped this would clear the data.
Now I am in a mess.
Please help fast

I suggest you use the MHDD disk and simply use the ERASE command. You may want to run a SCAN of the drive to confirm it is healthy, before selling it to someone else.

Because this is not a commercial peace of software. The developer has written the software in his spare time and does not have time to support user requests. But yes, try MHDD and good luck.

Thanks Luke
I have tried that now, but the drive just does not appear at all.
It does appear as a disk device in device manager, so I know it is connected.
Best regards
Graham

Is the drive attached over USB?
Did you initialize the drive in disk management?
