Disk list is not populated

I am running Windows Vista. After downloading HDDScan I started the program and there was no list of disks although the pull down showed 4 disc icons, (screen capture attached). All of the task choices were greyed out as well.

Did you try starting it as Administrator? (Right click --> run as)

Thanks for responding. Yes I did try starting it "as administrator", and the result was the same. Any other suggestions?
