Well, seems like in most cases the drive models that are dying left and right aren't even being manufactured anymore (except for 7200.11 during their time)

I would say that the graph being shown is pretty close to accurate from my perspective.


There are so many variables that are unknown though; it is hard to say what kind of environment each drive was subject to, etc.

Artem, days of screaming about hitachis are gone. However, they ain't still the perfect and peoples can now be heard screaming about Seagates (especially the .11+). Let's be frank, doesn't i365 itself receives a major chunk of Seagate brand drives?
