Any Expert in Nokia N95 Mobile Phone

Dear guys,

i have this case of Nokia N95, the client was having a Password/Code
in order to Use the Phone, he tried 5 times wrong code and the mobile now
is locked

Is there anyway to Unlock it - without FACTORY DEFAULT RESTORE
and keeping it as is

Any way to unlock it only?

btw, i have the Tool to Unlock it, but it must ERASE THE DATA TO FACTORY DEFAULT

If the "too many attempt" Lock did not go into effect then there was a way to get around. But typically once it goes into that semi-brick state , the only thing you can do is restore to factory settings, thus wiping out all the info.

Also... side note. Typically the person who did it is usually not the original person that own the phone. not saying that is the case, but just giving you a heads up

I would say about once a month our forensic division gets these types of call. "forgot my password and put it the wrong one too many times"" or just the " I forgot my password and need the data off of it" we tell them we can look at it, but we need proof of ownership. Since a lot of time people are in bitter divorce battles, want to see if spouse is cheating... stuff like that.

sound to me that he got the phone from somewhere else

your cell provider would help to reset the cell phone that is blocked.

also the person would had more likely installed a theft security program on the phone
which does lock it down.

i have come across these and also unlocked them with out losing anything on the phone
i only do this when the owners can show proof that it is his phone

yes there is ways round this

but posting any information how to unlock them will help thief's knowing how to unlock any blocked phones
