Smart Question about JPEG

February 20th, 2012, 12:49

Well, sometimes i come up with few tasks which might be Impossible
anyway

here is the Task Question:

How do you disable the JPEG thumbs view for specific image?

in another word:

I have a JPEG image, and i wanted this image to be viewed on any PC when you OPEN it
but when you use THUMBNAILS i don`t wanted it to be VIEWED.

which looks like a damaged image, but once double click it works and shows the image

Any Clues???

So, you have a jpg with working image but damaged embedded thumbnail?

You should be able to use exiftool to remove the exif thumbnail; then if a thumbnail is going to be displayed (by windows or whatever) it will have to be generated from the real image instead of using the damaged embedded thumbnail
