Hi Guys,
Anyone have firmware copy for Western Digital hdd. The HDD details is:
Model: WD800VE-08HDTO
FW: 10.07D10
The hard drive detect wrong model number XYZ.

Based on your request, I am assuming that you don't have professional data recovery tools at your disposal. If your data is of any value to you, I urge you to get your drive assessed by a professional lab before you make any attempts to kill your data by messing with the firmware.
Based on your limited description, I'd say that your drive is loading into kernel mode, likely due to heads and/or media damage.
