Anybody worried about how Russia's recent conflict about Crimea, seriously affecting world government relations at the highest levels, may affect data recovery business worldwide?

If there's a trade embargo, then one would have to wonder how Ace Labs will sell their products. Maybe they'll ditch their expensive dongle and switch to software based IP protection.

SW based IP protection

that will never happen

That would be a bad idea. I have seen that Russian enterprises are not altogether fussed about making extra effort in supporting other countries.
I am more worried about the individuals safety and property in conflicts, I hope that AU never has this type of shenanigans going on, and sympathise with the ones that do.

One annoying thing about Ace is the fact that their English manuals are much older than the Russian versions. Can't be bothered to translate them!?

Send them to me, I will translate them for a free PC3KExpress and a PC3KFlash.

Hmmm. If there are newer versions of the manuals that contain important extra information, I would not give a PC3000 Express for English versions of them, but I would pay a reasonable amount of dollars.
