Well the reason I asked is that most of these recovery softwares for pst will use outlook api for mapi calls, in other words you must have a copy of outlook installed. Some older copies of outlook will not support files larger than 2GB, but newer versions do.
What happens when you run the scanpst.exe utility provided with Office?
