Who needs PC3000 when you can have the "Data Recovery Cable."
http://www.driverecoverycable.com/?tid=G03If you are planning on making this purchase, don't! If you like the adapter, you can get one here:

Is it a joke ?

It looks like a joke to me, but I think they are seriously selling this as a data recovery tool.

Hope they won't discover the hard drive spray... Did anybody see the SW 'live' just to know if it is a simple logic recovery sw or something more... ?

That is hilarious. Just for fun, I'm going to ask them if it will help me if my drive is clicking.

This is a bona-fide data recovery tool. It has an awesome success rate if the host computer fails. There is no question about it. It lets another computer access data off the drive.
Now, being nothing more than a basic USB-PATA-SATA interface it would become a whole different ballgame if your HDD has an internal failure.
Sure looks impressive to the non-technical layperson. eh?

After 1 year the question is.........why they limit to 3 "devices"?
May 25th, 2012, 23:54
Cuz that's the hottest stuff out there right now... If you have 3 cables, your data transfer rate goes 3 times up... >.>

LOL
Wow, looks like a QVC informercial.

This is really funny. Everyone should have a dozen of these on hand to guarantee recovery success rates. LOL

I'm wondering if they will include a Flobee or maybe a good food dehydrator if I "Act Now"?

Nope, but you might be able to convince them to supply a Chia Pet.
