wd20ears-locked-pvr-t23924.html(b) With respect, although it may seem an obvious thing to you, you're asking the wrong question IMHO. You don't remove write protection - you have to diagnose and then fix whatever underlying problem is causing that to be reported, since that error is a symptom of
something else.
I've asked a relevant question in the above thread which you haven't yet answered, to help to eliminate a common cause of that error. I suggest that you continue with that previous thread which you started, rather than "going off at a tangent" in this new thread, OK?
