Hi,

I've an Fujitsu - MHW2080BH SATA hard disk, which I got with my Compaq Laptop. Since my Laptop blew up, I thought of using the Hard disk with an SATA to USB Enclosure. But, now Pins on the Enclosure I have and the HDD does not match, and I cant attach it.

The Specifications of Hard Disk I have is
http://www.fujitsu.com/us/services/comp ... -sata.html

The SATA to USB Enclosure I bought is Transcend StoreJet 2.5 TS0GSJ25S
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817349004
http://www.transcendusa.com/products/Mo ... 4&LangNo=0

Also I've attached the pics of the HardDisk, and the USB Enclosure pins.
Please help me to find if the USB Enclosure I've bought is correct for this?, and or any solution

Take the piece off the hard drive PCB. All PCB board when removed from a lap top come with a special adaptor to attach them inside the lap top computer. This will remove easily try to remove it. If you can not succeed then take it back to the store you bought it from and they will mount it inside the enclosure for you it is that simple to do.

I tried removing the, adaptor from the PCB board of HDD, but it still does not attach to the Enclosure. Attached pics of the adaptor removed.

I Doubt that, the USB Enclosure that I bought is an IDE, rather having SATA Interface. Someone please confirm.

You only bought an IDE enclosure. You need to take your drive and the enclosure back to the store and get one for SATA drives and your problem will be solved. Take your drive with you if you are not sure and have someone help you choose the right one.
