As a follow-up to my other post about failed Western Digital WD5000AAKS drive I would like to ask for a recommendation, as to which drives should be most realiable in my set-up, i.e. D-Link DNS-323 NAS with 2x750GB runing in RAID1.
I trusted WD so far, becasue in my history of computing (~17 years), majority of failed hard drives I dealt with came from Maxtor. But now comes a time to revisit my opinions about hard drive manufacturers and their product's realiablity.
