Atola Insight can detect the drive but reports a FW issue in automatic test.

PC3K UDMA reports 0MB and offers the 0MB fix to be started in tool option.
.... does not work.

As I do not have a valid service contract I wonder whether this issue can
be fixed with PC3K UDMA with the actual version. According the list of
supported drives on their website .... its NO (?)

I have a good working exact match of this drive (FW + size)
- both drives (the defect and the good one) are out of same HP laptop.

Any hint how to proceed ? - otherwise I will "outsource" it as usual....

It looks like that this drive (family) is not yet supported by any tool.
