Samsung spinpoint F3 faulty ??

Hi guys.
I have just purchased a Samsung F3 (hd103sj) 1TB HD.
This is the first time I own a Samsung HD.
when I start my pc, there's, well, a whoooooop sound. something like a jet plane engine start (but not that loud )
Is this normal ? why does it make this sound ?

A sound file would be nice- a jet plane sound - i doubt it.
