Posts being moderated?

Hi folks,

I joined this forum two days ago and posted about an issue in the 'Hard Disk Repair discissions' section. My first post was moderated and then subsequent posts arrived without requiring approval, the thread is going well and other members are attempting to assist me.

Today I have posted an update to the thread and I am being moderated again. I am just wondering if I have broken some rule somewhere or do posts get randomly picked out for approval?

I think the first x number of posts on a new account are moderated

I doubt there is anything wrong with my posts, all the moderated ones have turned up as originally posted (unedited)

It's disappointing in terms of the time scale; I posted something around midday today and it still has not appeared. I understand the moderation is probably done on a voluntary basis but the thread loses continuity when replies go AWOL for such long periods.

It seems my first posts after logging in are the ones grabbed for moderation.. I'm posting this at around 6pm GMT, see when it turns up.

Ok, so my post in the "data recovery and repair" section was posted yesterday at 13:42 and only appeared this morning about 8am (GMT). I just posted another reply and it's been logged for moderation again, I guess it'll be almost another day before it appears?

My post was simply to say HUGE thank you to fzabkar for his help.
