Otherwise here is a way to get rid of it completely:

Your drive may be different, though.
Hello
Thank you for contacting ClickFree support.
The CDFS partition cannot be removed from the Clickfree as the software resides on a chip inside the device and there is no way to format that partition.
We hope that we were able to assist you with your inquiry. If you are still experiencing any difficulties with your Clickfree device, please contact us again.
See the link below to take a look at the FAQs or full user manual for your ClickFree device.
Sincerely,
ClickFree Support

I've tried it and it works great!!
I've used "Version 255.31.3.41.22", as on the site is says "Version 255.31.2.41.22". I've contacted Hayel and indeed it should be version 3 instead of 2. He's going to edit that on the site.
And at dot 5 there was some text before "JMS539" something like ..55.. before it.
After formatting the disk (on my iMac) for the full 1 TB the flashing light is still working...I hoped it would stop working as in the description.
So now I'm happy

Which chip does it have?
Do you see any problems now that the VCD is gone? AISI, the bridge firmware will still be looking for the VCD "partition".
