Hello,

During a few days, i walked through all this forum before posting this topic.
Indeed, i want to go in-depth about DR : i've done, during last years, a lot of logical recoveries and PCB repairs.

Here are the items i found after walking through :

Ann's books :

These books seem wonderful. But, is it specific to SD tools ? My goal is to learn/study w/o SD tools, in a first step.
They advice to buy the manufacturers recovery guide for a first study instead of in-depth guide : right ?
But i'm very interested by appendix categories of the in-depth one : clean room setup, etc.
By the way, i applause Einstein9 for making hard copies of such books : it's a respect sign. I'd do so.

Glove Box :

I'm trying to buid @home a cleanroom-like. I've found some DIY guides but i'd rather to buy a professional one. I found a reseller called Terra Universal : any advice on manufacturer / models suggested ?

Datasheets :

I can imagine that all this information isn't centralized but any adviced link for PCB datasheets, etc ? HDDGuru has some ones and there is also "Datasheet Archive", but i'm interested in some specific link about PCB.

SalvationData :

Their tools seem appreciated on this forum. Is there any first "must-have" product ?

HDDSurgery :

I've seen all their videos and i'm really impressed with their high-quality tools. I want to buy some of them but without any cleanroom / glove box, they are useless... So it depends on your answer about my previous "Glove Box" question.

Finally, i've read all the beginner's topics here, but if there is another adviced guide about classical symptoms/guides, i'd thank you.

Thank you for reading.

Sincerely,

XZed

Well, i obviously couldn't read each topic but i can guarantee you having walking through a lot of topics / categories...

I always considered that any questions weren't appreciated without a minimum of personal search/reading, RTFM...

Thank you anyway.

What do you mean by "PCB datasheets"?

Are you perhaps referring to PCB circuit diagrams ???

If, OTOH, you are referring to IC datasheets, then I have accumulated a database of sorts:

http://www.users.on.net/~fzabkar/HDD/HD ... ntrol.html
http://www.users.on.net/~fzabkar/HDD/HDD_Preamp.html

http://www.users.on.net/~fzabkar/HDD/HD ... annel.html

I have also put together the following tutorial:
