You can take this to a DR company. Prove this is your HDD by showing proff of ownership and have the DR company unlock this one for you. You will not be able to do this one on your own and special tools will cost you around 10K that can handle this one. If this is actually your drive I would take it to a DR company. I think this one should not be too expensive for them to do this for you. You should get this done for less than 100 dollars I am sure of this. That is if there is no other problems on this drive and it is a password locked drive I believe this should be around the price a DR company will charge you for this one.

And you can also try to go to the BIOS settings using the master password that i'm assuming you already have and turn of the hdd lock.

The master password id default Manufacturer set and i tried 32 times t but failed
You will also find on ebay a *huge* amount of sellers that generate those codes to unlock a dell locked hdd and sell them at the average price of $5 to $20.

I am from Pakistan and there is no ebay and Paypal service here
TRY password nnnnnnxs to unlock your HDD using the same dell that locked it.

its not working
Enter service tag, HDD serial number, or nothing at all: NJDRZB04697

NJDRZB04697 --> zb66tdse

MPWs calculated by newer BIOSes:

NJDRZB04697-D35B --> o1d5iev2

these two are also not working

Now you will use the keyboard arrow to navigate down to the available options and you will press enter, in this step a window
will pop up asking you for the current password, this is the BIOS master password. type it in and press enter again,

it prompts a system or disk password exists so you cannot set admin password.
And Admin Password and System Password status is NOT SET
rest of the things are not working

Ok, i need some explanation here, otherwise i will not be able to assist any further .... IS THIS A STOLEN DRIVE/LAPTOP ?

Or did you get it from someone else ?

Can you explain why on this thread :

how-pass-bios-hard-disk-password-samsung-hdd-t25401.html

ANOTHER DIFERENT USER ( Aftab )

HAVE THE SAME HARDDISK THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO UNLOCK ?

I want to ask is there any way to get it functional although the data is not important

ThankYou

Guess that is why we say to take it to a DR company and prove that it is your drive. To unlock drives and give advise in such a case is not a good idea on this one. Do not know who the real owner of this drive actually is. Hard to prove it here on the forum too. At a DR company it is not hard to prove who the HDD belongs too. Nice advice

The hdd or Laptop is not a stolen one but actually it was a gift from my relative who is doing job in Saudi Arabia. I am not sure where he bought it from. I gave this to me in original Packing which I still have. Still if you want any proof i am willing to provide.

You will need NATIVE DOS - run from dos boot disk. Command prompt under windows will not work.

I also download iso file and extract the utility and conf file but at native dos mode it gives error
