Dear colleagues!
I do believe quite often you have to answer the same questions from your customers about what to expect from data recovery and why its results are as they are. So do we. Being sick and tired about that, I wrote an article File Recovery Basics: How Data Recovery Works in order not to repeat time and again the same things with the same words.
I tried to be as simplistic as possible, given that the main reader of the article has little (if any) experience in data recovery, and very basic computer skill. And I’m afraid I might overdo that. That’s why I ask you to browse through it (it’s not lengthy), and tell me what you think about it. You may also use it instead explaining those things to customers yourselves.
