Hello guys,,,

To cut it short here i have iMAC Model A1419 (Late 2012)

USB3.0 x4 ports
Thunderbolt x2

The Question here is this:

Most of my Apple users bring us big Storage capacity like 16, 32TB even more
and those are the new Type-C connection cable

What am doing now is Using Pro. USB3 HUB (with ext. power) and plugging all those devices to it and transferring their data

The problem is TIME,, hell of time,,, as an example 16tb takes 8 days from UNIT 2 UNIT via USB3 (as mentioned)

Is there anyway to make things faster, based on your setup/experience???

Thank you

2TB per day = 23 MB per second

That's a USB 2.0 transfer rate.

for TypeC (USB3.1) we use MB for windows based PC with proper interface usb3.1, under mac we use TB3 (iMAC late 2015 and newer).
