MRT is buggy incase of afh which byfar has many limitations and have success rate for few old models such as hepburn, pharaoh, etc...

Spreadsheet is for experienced pros which also have limitations & know what exactly they are trying to do with afh/dac.

I used MRT to help adjust the AFH on a locked Rosewood a couple of weeks ago so that I could continue imaging with PC3K-DE.

The best I can tell, the AFH functions of MRT are one of the functions that I've found to work consistently. The remainder of its functions are a roll of the dice, that sometimes resolve themselves with frequent system reboots.

I prefer the 2nd option:

1) Going for a long drive with destination unknown.

2) Going for a long drive with destination known.

Just an update
I had re-directed 2 clients to seagate
1) 4TB IronWolf or nearby family with sure shot head trouble and no chance of HM edit: Seagate Lyve recovered 3.xx TB data
2) 2TB roseweood refused, scratch on platter

both were virgin and un tampered.
