Hi Everyone,

I am writing to ask if data recovery is possible on an Android smartphone which has been factory reset.

The phone is Samsung Galaxy S10+ and I installed the wrong firmware file (CSC instead of CSC_home) which does a reformat of the internal storage for user data.

Looking around online, I'm finding all kinds of information but nothing specific.

I do appreciate any advice and suggestions!

Thanks!

Are there really no methods to reading all the memory blocks to see what's there?

No. When the phone is factory reset the encryption key is also reset. So all your old data will be encrypted. Recovery is not possible.
