Hi Guys, I am planning to apply for data recovery engineer position for Fields Data Recovery. I was just wondering if anyone here works for this company or knows anything about this company? who could give me some info e.g. how big they are in the market? Is it a good company to work for? How do they treat their employees etc???

any kind of info would be appreciated!

Thank you

I did a search on 'fields data recovery blog' and came up with this interesting link..

the main subject is about Reynolds Data Recovery, but looking through the replies, you will find something about Fields.. I'm not sure how truthful it is but I guess it's up to the idividual to make up their own mind.

Search on the page for 'fields'

from doing a bit of reading, it seems you will have to relocate to the UK.

Must be very quiet at fields either that or the live recovery system is a fake.
Anyone from fields want to comment ?

maybe they can recover data and ALSO predict the future?

Recover your data EVEN before you have created it.. Now thats a SERVICE !!

Recover your holidays photo's before you have even been! Save money on flights and hotels. Bit like that film Total Recall.

Total recall, thats a good name for a data recovery company 8)

Hi All,

It's nice to know that DataRecovery companies are hiring people in these recession times.

Well,I like to ask what should be the minimum skill set or skills that one should posess that a DR company could expect or set as a must.

Have a great weekend :- )

Cheers,

I know this is an old thread and not a great place for a first post, but I just thought I should update on Fields' "live" success rate.

As of early January 2012, it's running at:

87.20%

92.18%

87.22%

88.96%

87.17%

89.80%

91.66%

91.25%

89.58%

88.40%

So, with the exception of a drop in score for IBM hard drives, everything else is exactly the same as it was in February 2009 and August 2008? What a crock.
