Linux Partition

Hello Gurus,
500 Gb HDD (Hitachi) is connected to cctv DVR(for data recording).some data is deleted which i want to recover but this partition is of linux.So can you suggest which is good software for recovery for linux partion (i dont know linux) it should able to access linux partion from microsoft
for recovery of deleted file.

If this is ext2/3/4 fs (most popular for Linux), try R-Linux. It's free, and there're versions running on Windows and Linux. In addition, it has file recovery using file signatures, so it may also be helpful.
